How we're celebrating our centenary and beyond

This website kicks off our Elmy Cycles Centenary Celebrations as we look back at the history of the store and tell the many stories of the shop and its customers. It also tells the story of our championship-winning Elmy Cycling Team, the numerous events the team has promoted, and the incredible cyclists the shop has supported.

Elmy’s is also proud to announce it will be partnering with two wonderful charity organisations this year: the Ipswich Transport Museum who will be displaying all of our archive material for everyone to be able to view, and the Genesis Green Bike Project, a charity that works with people with learning and physical disabilities to repair and sell used bicycles.

A celebration event later in June this year will bring together customers, friends, and families with charity partners to mark 100 years in the saddle.

Elmy Cycles would love to hear stories from customers old and new, the best of which can feature on this website, and will be invited to join celebrations later in the year.

We also have many exciting projects and events planned for beyond our 100th year and will be making announcements in the near future so please watch this space…
